God of Stackers supports two kinds of player-versus-player matches: Ranked and Custom rooms. Both are 1v1 and use the normal versus rules described in Stacking Mechanics. Each player brings their own character and loadout.

Ranked[edit]

Pick a character and join the ranked queue to be matched against a player of similar skill.

  • Each ranked match is a single game. The first player to top out loses.
  • Winning raises your rating and losing lowers it. Beating a higher-rated opponent earns more.
  • Ranked replays are saved and can be watched later.

Rank tiers[edit]

Your rank tier depends on where you stand on the ranked leaderboard, shown on your rank card as Top X%. From lowest to highest:

  1. Rookie
  2. Student
  3. Bronze
  4. Silver
  5. Gold
  6. Diamond
  7. Expert
  8. Master
  9. Grandmaster
  10. God of Stackers (top 1%)

Players who haven't played a ranked game yet have no tier.

Custom rooms[edit]

Custom rooms are private lobbies for playing friends without affecting your rating. Create a room and share its code, or join a room from the room list.
